I just got my Dell 2005FPW yesterday and I wanted to make sure that all the pixels are fine. Since this is my first LCD I wasn't sure what to use for see all the seperate colours and other aspects of the monitor like geometry and text sharpness etc etc.

So I made this small utility to see how things are.

You can download it for free and if you like it then you are free to use it.

Developer : Nirav Patel (CodeLake)
Download Monitor Test

Thanks for your input.

Cheers :)

Sounds useful - I just make five images the size of my screen, then use WinXP's 'Preview' feature to watch a slow slideshow of them - one red, one green, one blue, one black and one white. ;) It works for me, but there will be people who would rather a program did it all. :D

@Paradigm Shifter

Thanks for the input but I wanted something which can be useful not just to me but to others aswell. :)

I sent this to a friend of mine and he actually burnt it onto CD and shows it to customer before selling any LCDs instore. He works as a sales fella in a computer hardware store.

@maherie

Thanks for the encouragement. :)
