There is a possibility that Steam is causing a problem. Your exe filesize is similar to my retail version (upon which I based the hack), but the files are different.

Can you run the game directly without Steam running? If not, that means the game has at least some Steam-dependent code.

Try downloading the no-cd version from you-know-where and see if you can run the game with it sans Steam (backup original exe of course). My tool works with the no-cd version just like the retail exe.

Hopefully this will produce useful information.

Sorry it took so long go get back to this..

Yes, it'll run with no Steam and a no-cd, but still not working. Very odd. I was hoping that the new AMD driver would help, and that 12.3 was just a fluke. No one else has responded about his.. surely ONE other person has tried it!?!?

I guess I'm stuck playing it on a single screen like a regular chump.

Can't remember if I asked this before, but PM me a link to download your Steam exe from somewhere. There is one thing I can try but it's a long-shot.

If this is truly caused by the AMD drivers I'm stumped.
