hi, using the steam version of the game, it crashes any time i press the button; some said because the game was updated, dont know; also where you choose the version, shouldnt be a steam version there? only got 1.0 and 1.1

Hey Gigi ^_^
Yes the game got updated the last few days I believe and that is why the fix is not working anymore.
All the versions in 1.0 and 1.1 are for Steam release. I forgot to write "Steam" there but I will add it so there is less confusion.
I will update the plugin very soon and I will keep you all posted.

Best Regards,
Helifax

EDIT:

The following plugin is updated to latest Resident Evil Revelations Steam version (v1.2.0) .
Resident Evil Revelations Steam 1.2.0

How to make it work:

1. Go to <em>C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\CAPCOM\RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS</em>.
2. Open the <ins>config.ini</ins> file.
3. In the ini file find the "Resolution=" field and write the desired single monitor resolution to be used in Surround/Eyefinity (for example for 5040x1050 select 1680x1050).
4. Make the ini file READ ONLY

Download WideScreen Fixer
Put the downloaded plugin in WideScreenFixer/Plugins folder

5. Start WSF and THE GAME.
6.DO NOT ENABLE THE FIX (The game will crash)
7. Get to the main screen (After the intro screen with the big eye).
8.ALT+TAB and enable the FIX (If you don't ALT+TAB the game will crash)
9.ALT+TAB tp the game and you will see the Surround/Eyefinity Resolution. (It is more visible after you get ingame since the menu is centered and displayed on the center monitor)
10.Enjoy the game!!!!!!

PS: It works only on the updated Steam Released Version. Other "cr@acked" versions don't work.

Hi Helifax, I've searched for a FoV fix and finally found this thread. I have the Steam version, 1.20, latest Widescreen Fixer, and am running 1 monitor at 1920x1080 @ 60Hz.

If I enable the fix, and use, say, 55 degrees vert FoV, the engine works great, but the HUD seems a bit wrong:

The cutscenes also seem a bit cut up, and they're only showing on the left 3rd of my screen.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I can try disabling VSync and other things.

Thanks for your help!

Ah never mind, I had d3overrider on which was forcing vsync and messing with WSF.

Works great now thanks - I can finally play this game!

Is there a way to get true full screen, triple-monitor resolution in this game? I am seeing annoying black bars at the top and bottom of the screenshots.

Not working for me. Am i doing something wrong?

My Res: 5970x1080 (1920x1080x3)
GPU 770 SLI
Steam version, original game (bought for 12usd)

1- Run Game
2- after main menu or ingame ALT+TAB
3- Open Widescreen Fixer as shown in pic
4- ALT+TAB back to game

But single monitor and side monitor with no signal. Plus if i open Widescreen Fixer and then start Game it does not crash, but 1 single monitor.

Here is my configuration:

The no signal part seems to be a driver problem... If you are using the latest beta drivers than there you go...(they are very broken in alot of places)
