Max is 1280x768??? On my CRT I want to remember being able to run 1600x1200 no problem???

my LCD is native at 1366/768 which is 16:9 so I shouldn´t need the fov hack right?

but how do I enable the 1360/768 res my nvidia card gives me?

Has everyone given up on this one?

I have major issues. For some reason I can´t choose 1280x720 I just get a blank screen whatever I do. Is it even possible that my 1366/768 monitor can´t output that res via VGA?

Anyway I chose that res for GTA and got the black screen. Can´t change the res and even if I uninstall and then reinstall it´s stuck at that res...

I have tried uninstalling my video card drivers and install others but same error.

You wont see higher than your native resolution, I dont know what its not showing 1366x768 though. I can select 1680x1050 fine, that is the only WS resolution in my list - sorry I cant help much further! Also VGA should be able to display the same as DVI.

I just picked up this game myself. I didn't have any problems selecting my native resolution (1920x1200), although I believe the "widescreen" option in the settings is for 16:9 aspect ratios.

You can always add a custom resolution via your Nvidia Control panel. (Open up your Nvidia display options and choose "Screen Resolutions and Refresh Rates"). After you input the desired resolution it should show up as an option in most games.

Also, if you are using a widescreen resolution on a flat panel I would recommend using DVI for the best picture quality.

I have two of the same monitors, one which I use DVI and the other I use VGA and I cant tell the difference. I think poor VGA quality is due to either the cable quality or the connector itself on the graphics card - my old 15" VGA monitor looked really poor next to my 17" DVI!
