Hello All,

i bought this Game, i want to play it on my LCD-TV which support the Resolution: 1280x768. But doesnt support; 1280x720.

The availible Resolutions in the Game are: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720

My needed Resolution isnt availible in the Game.

Do you know, what can i do, to play the game in 1280x768?

Thank you all,

bye

Edit:
I have a temporaly Solution: I deleted the Option File from the Game, started the Game,
and it takes the right Resolution: 1280x768 (But you cant choose this Resolution in the Game :) )

Option File: C:UsersUsernameDocumentsMy GamesRed Faction GuerrillaOptionsrfg_display_options.rfgs_pc

But one Problem is there: If i change something in Graphic Option, it creates a new Option File. And then, at new Gamestart, i have the 1280x720 Resolution. :(

Maybe there is a single line out of the config file you can delete. Make all the settings change you want, then delete the line associated with resolution. Can you post the text from the file here.

Hey palsch im having the exact same problem. Worse thing about it is that this isnt the only game that I cant get the right resolutions in. Resident Evil 5 for example does the same thing (in DX10 mode) but in DX9 i can get up to 1920x1080. The only way to get that resolution in DX10 is to change the config file and play in windowed mode. Since we dont know how to change the config file for red faction guerrilla how THA HECK do we get the resolution higher?? and why do our computers not show higher resolutions for this game? b/c their lcd hdvt's? grrr

Heh, im not even playins game, same crap as assassin's cred, very poor port, i mean wtf is the point of playing it on pc when you can only select like 5 resolutions, i have a TH2go and its very disapointing not to be able to play this at 5040x1050, will probly never "blind" buy a gmae cause i might like it, tired of paying money for crap that will be a shit port at best, sure the game looks good, but ffs we all have different monitors, and not even being able to play at 1680x1050 is wtf, anyways just giving my 2 cents, this game is crappy port with ridiculous resolution locks.

Game has all the standard single monitor resolutions for me... you might be experiencing a problem.

It's a pretty good port, actually... not sure what you're on about at all really. It runs well, the controls are spot-on, it looks amazing and has added effects, plus AA and forcing AF and vsynch works fine.

The only real issue is a few bugs, but they've confirmed them and said a patch is coming.

As hinted by palsch, if your desired resolution is not available from the in-game options you can still let the game use your desktop resolution :
- delete the My DocumentsMy GamesRed Faction GuerrillaOptions folder.
- (set your desktop res according to your desired in-game res.)
- run the game. It should use your desktop res + default options.
If you want to adjust any options to your liking, your resolution will be lost next time you start the game. You'll have to delete the Options folder and make in-game adjustments again next time you play

Widescreen & surround support is native/Hor+, though.

Not working for me though, always starts 800x600 but then over three displays.. How do i hex-edit this??

**EDIT** never mind.. when i play it it's 5040x1200 for me.. Scav, any chance you can make me a 5040x1200 high-settings for me?
