As you can see the FOV is not correct. Will try to do my best to locate (if possible) the data to modify.
Also, for any reason the mouse cursor is located ont the left display not the middle where the menu are accessible.
It's only annoying as you can access each menu with the keyboard.

I did it! I just loaded up the game, it let me select the resolution and it's HOR+ and the HUD is centered!

Just managed to set an Eyefinity setup.
Actually the FOV is not correct.
Find the SharedData.settings file in your
C:UsersAppDataRoamingDay 1 StudiosFEAR3

The width is recorded at offset 4A and 4B and is reversed (eg 6048 width would give A0 17)
The height is recorded at offset 4E and 4F and is reversed too.

Actually trying to find a fix for the FOV.

For width : 80 16 at offsets 4A 4B (1608 hex = 5760 base 10)
For height : 38 04 at offsets 4E 4f (0438 hex = 1080 in base 10)

Tried 2 differents resolutions with differents ratio to find out where the FOV could be located and the only difference between the two files generated are the width and height hexadecimal values. :(

This means that the FOV is soft coded and likely a hack will be necessary.

Gah, I broke down and bought the game cause I wanted more FEAR story like a crack-addict, but 10 seconds into it I notice something off.

It's like the mouse look is smooth as butter, 90+ FPS , but as soon as I strafe, everything jitters like i'm having a siezure. FPS stays high, it's almost like the motion-blur is only being shown every 3rd or 4th frame, or some kind of insane micro-stuttering.

It's made me shut-er-down almost immediately. :(

I'm upping a vid to youtube, you could see the effect in my source video, but I recorded full FPS, so I'm not sure if the glitch will be as noticeable in a youtube converted vid with it's low FPS.

EDIT, nah can't really see it on youtube.

I cannot find the offsets 4A 4B or 4E 4f re they under render resolution?

I get that same microstutter :cry:
