Post subject:  What your fix actually does

What your ini edit actually does is make the game universally vert-, so really its not much better then it is atm as you loss 2/3 of the screen you should get in a single monitor and the rest is just stretched to fit the monitor. That said, the fact it unifies the FoV across the board might make it easier for our devs to find a fix.

With note to that, AspectRatioAxisConstraint has no effect if bConstrainAspectRatio is true, but it does if its false, also FOVAngle has no effect at all.

Ya I just play in single monitor, although the artifacting seems to be stuck on now :(
I mostly posted it hopping it would lest show that it can be corrected, and that it may jog some ones memory into getting down the path to truly fixing the problem.

I had also tried several other changes, to the files.
1- gave me the widescreen view but on 1 monitor, with hud in proper locations on 1 screen.
2- got the game to play normal on 1 screen with out setting the rez to single monitor.
3- game played in widescreen but got hud to act as on single monitor
4- there are 3 FOV setting in the ini files and none of them seem to do anything. lest the ones in that directory.

there seemed to be alot of stuff you can change that gives a number of interesting changes. But most seem to do nothing at all.

But one thats really good to do is, in the " XComEngine.ini " Find the ones called " StartupMovies= " and put a " ; " infront of them, or just delete them, and when you load game it will go strait to menu screen.

Was this game lost in the masses, or just too hard to fix?
