Are they a standard format? If so, you could extract them from the .pk3 files (which are just renamed .zip files) and watch them in WMP or something. Not quite the same, but... ;)

Regarding the unwatchable intro videos when COD single player is hacked to widescreen, I suggest the following:

Change the the single player .cfg file line from seta com_introplayed "0" to seta com_introplayed "1". This will prevent the intros from even playing so you don't have to stare at a black screen for several seconds. 8)
