so let me get this strait. i am about to purchase a widescreen sager 8790 laptop and final fantasy XI to play it on. are you telling me it wont run or look good? should i just get a standard laptop screen |

Welcome! According to this thread: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5 FFXI supports a native widescreen resolution. It will fill your WS laptop, without stretching or distorting. I don't know about that specific model, but if it's specs meet the game's, you should be good to go. |

KotOR has some problems... a member of this forum (Wogg) has coded a hack that sets the resolution to widescreen ones, but whether it works or not seems to be down to luck. See this thread and this thread. Jedi Knight II and a couple of others will play in widescreen, but the majority will not. |
