Silent Hunter III looks like a great sub sim. I have watched it play on my friends pc and it looks great. But, only 1024 resolution! Has anyone made this work in widescreen yet with correct aspect ratio? I might get the game and see if there is a registery fix. I looked at the configs in my freinds game and could not find a reference to resolutions. Great game but might not be widescreened because so much if it has 2d overlays that will cause problems. |

Yeah I just got the game to, and don't see anywhere to change the res. not even in the folder where you install it to. I don't wanna play it yet until I can changed it to the res. I want. (1680 x 1050) I would like :) |

You can change the rez if you have the unpatched game. You need to get the nocd patch from Megagames and see this thread here for the link to the utility that changes rez in game. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/ubb.x?q=Y&a=tpc&s=400102&f=857101043&m=9161097992&p=3 I can change my rez now but it will not ratio correctly and still looks stretched at widescreen. |

Oh one more thing is this patch only for SH3? Or it can be used with any game? BTW patch works great in SH3 got it at 1680 1050 looks really good. |

does anyone have a working link for this...i have had the game along time and never finished it and now i have my nice WS LCD and the res really sucks.. can anyone help me out?? |
