Hi i'm trying to get Play Beyond Good & Evil to run in widescreen properly. The problem is that it's native widescreen built around a square screen. aka it's has black letterbox bars. I was thinking that it shuld be possable to remove the bars, or zoom in panscan style to remove them for proper widescreen gameing. However everthing i have tryed has lead to zero seccuess i still am playing letterboxed with everything streched. anyone have an idea? |

I' m sorry to say there is no solution for you.. Pretty gay. I always fuigured it woudl do it just fine considering it's already widescren on 4:3 displays, but there ya have it. the only thing i can think of is for you to use powerstrip (for ATI) or you nVidia drivers to force the game to run in 4:3 withe the black bars on teh sides. although that means that the game will lieklly be about half the swize of your monitor... :< or, hook it up to your TV and play with that. Being a consoel game all of the content (text, etc.) is large enough to read on the low resolution of a television. |
