Hi all,

My dilemma is with Nascar 2003 and Vista (ultimate). If I use my 21" CRT I can run the game using D3D, v-sync enabled without issue. Locks in at 85fps and runs very smooth.

I would like to use my 22" LCD however the game just refuses to cooperate. First off v-sync while enabled within the Nvidia control panel (and forced on within Rivatuner) will not work. I get about 90-100 fps but the game plays a bit choppy. My thought was enable v-sync in hopes of smoothing it out.

Tried just about everything to get this game to play on my LCD within Vista. Tweak AA and AF, in game settings, run as administrator, enable compatibility mode, etc., etc.. Would love to move to Vista full time but this prevents me from doing so as I enjoy this game from time to time. Is it something with the wide screen resolution in Vista that cuases these issues?

Power options are set to performance. No issues with XP using the LCD. Latest Nvidia drivers. System specs are listed below. There is more than enough horse power to run this game. Wondering if anyone has any info that may help.

Specs:

Abit AW9D-Max
Intel E6600 @ 3.2 GHz
2GB G Skill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ 4-4-4-12 1:1
EVGA 8800 GTX
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB
OCZ GameXstream 700W PSU
X-FI Xtreme Gamer
Zalman 9700
Cooler Master STC-T01
Samsung 226BW 22"

Thanks,

Dave
