I can't see what the point of widescreen would be. It's a 2D game with static, non-scrolling background screens.

the resolution is poor.. 640x480 :(

Increasing the resolution to, say, 1600x1200 wouldn't accomplish a whole lot. The graphics would still be pre-rendered low-res backdrops; upping the resolution used to rasterize those graphics wouldn't magically add detail. You could accomplish the exact same thing by setting your graphics card to do the upscaling instead of your monitor.

the very problem is that i see this game at 640x480 with bbig lack boarders at every part of monitor!

I don't know specifically for ATI cards, but I'm sure there's a way. Make sure you have the latest drivers from ATI.com, and look around in your Catalyst Control Panel for the scaling settings.

if anyone can add a better resolution with squ1zzi's tutorial, please do it!
