Widescreen Gaming Forum

Hey there,

I've just recently bought myself a 17" widescreen laptop - the first widescreen monitor I've had. One of my favourite games of all time is Sierra's Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned. It's fairly old now, released in 1999, but I still replay it on a regular basis...

Basically this 3D game pre-dates the whole widescreen resolution and supports only: 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768. There's no native widescreen support, but that's to be expected. I was wondering if it's possible to play this game in widescreen? (1440x900 to be more precise...) Has anyone done it before? How would I go about it?

Obviously I'm a widescreen newbie and I apologize if the answer is really obvious. :D
