Hello, So I have been reading a lot here before I decided to pull the trigger on the TH2G and I have to say I am pretty happy with it so far. I have played a bunch of UT and BF and I have to say it was quite overwhelming at first. I am still working on a FOV that works for me but other then that it looks great. So anyways On to my Request for Help. FFXI seems to work with the crazy Resolution of 3840x1024 however the actual game images themselves are stretched so far it almost makes the game un-playable. Below I have attached some pictures of what I got so far but when dealing with such a high resolution I have to make registry edits to input the X and Y not a big deal. I also have 2 sets of numbers I can deal with the Actual Resoltion and the Background resolution. My question is what is the best way to approach this. If I use a windower program I can force the game to run at the high resolution and then tell the game to run another so it force stretches it to a better proportion. I have 2 Resolutions that I can mess with. The Resolution and Background Resolution. Any Ideas to help would be great. If it's not possible running it at 1280x1024 is acceptable if I can run it in the center screen and still have the others on is there a way to config that at least? |

Talking to some people who devlop stuff for the game they seem to think my solution has to do with making a Custom Aspect Ratio and they are looking in to seeing if there is a way to change it just thought I'd throw that out there to anyone who may be looking into this. |

Well is there any resolution that is within a standard format that I could spread across all 3 screens? Im guessing porbablly not. But another thing noone has been able to anwser is how can I make the game Display on the Center Monitor and leave the sides active so I can still use the internet and team speak etc. |

Well I am currently using in 1980 x 1024 (sounds right) and then dragging over to the middle window. I got some guys checking into seeing about displaying a custom ratio as being client side I wouldn't be sending anything to the servers so I wouldn't be considered hacking. But still looking into it. |

Actually for whatever reason FFXI actually as far as we all know doesn't scan as the things like the "Un-Official Windower" and Fishing bots and Synth Bots are all client side and the only way they can catch those is if they talk to you in game and you don't respond so I don't think something like this would really be a big deal. besides wouldn't the AR be in some kind of config file? Like would it be possible to edit one of the existing ones to my config? It would still say 15:10 but really be 15:4? |
