Okay, seen the notes on changing the [ini] and tried every possible combination to no avail. I hate to start a new thread, but I guess I gotta.

I can change all of the ini settings I want but the selection in the configuration window is always ghosted.

any idea why it won't change?

Once you get it resolved i suggest you also get the texture and lighting mods.. though i'm not sure if they work with Biohazard...

As for your problem, I can oly suggest eh usuall. Re-install, update video drivers, patch the game... I used Biohazard and Re4 US versions and they both gave me widescreen right off teh bat.. you try making teh .ini's read-only?

i can only find a european patch and i don't care about mods, i just want the widescreen to function.
reinstalled, tried the read-only, changed a few things 1 at a time, but never found anything that worked. o well

Lame..

But thsoe mods i mention actually are jsut for getting it up to par with teh Gamecube version. The PC textures and lighting are very poor and those mdos jsut restore it to what i was.

Check them out:

PS - I've found thatplaying older ported games still look okay on a old 4:3 television, if you are able.
