How to run Need For Speed Undercover in custom resolutions.

First thing to do is to download UniPatcher from this link http://www.wsgf.org/article/squ1zzy-unipatcher then run the game, choose 1024x768 as your resolution and exit NFSU. Next, copy the UniPatcher.exe in the game's main directory, execute it from there and fill in the boxes exactly as seen in the picture below. As for the last option (the resolution) choose the one you would like to play the game in.



Finally, click the 'Patch' button and that's it. Enjoy playing NFSU in your preferred resolution!

Tried to get this to work for vista at 1360x768 but it always ends up going to the lowest resolution in the game. Any suggestions on what may be wrong.

Vista x64 and 1360x768 is fine here! Hmm... Before patching run the Game and setting 1024x768 resolution in Options? :?:

anyway i can get 1280x768 as its not available in that tool, damn fussy lcd tv.

Vista x64 and 1360x768 still not working have run game at 1024x768 before changing to new resolution. Still getting low res on start of game, don't know what I am doing wrong. Can you send your working pre changed exe file for 1360x768 to me so I can see if it works or do you have any other suggestions I can try to get it to work. Any help you can can give would be much appreciated.

Ok, uploaded 1360x768 worked nfs.exe file, http://www.zshare.net/download/51534271b5cadcf3/ in 7-zip format (~10MiB). Now, run the game set 1024x768 resolution, save and quit. Run again the game and checked the game really run the 1024x768 resolution! If Yes, exit the game. Copy worked nfs.exe to game folder with overwrite the original nfs.exe and run the game. The nfs.exe not cracked, it's original!

Thanks for the pre changed exe file, I still am unable to get it to work though, looks like I wont be playing this for a while, at least till I have worked out what is wrong with getting it to work with widescreen. Now if only ea would put proper widescreen support in to there games, would not have these problems.

Is this game Vert- when selecting a WS resolution in the menu or have they fixed it now?

it's not working for me.
i return to the lowest resolution.
can you try to fix this and please add 1366X768?
