Hi,

anyone help me sort the FOV out in Borderlands.
Running at 5040x but the usual zoomed in appearance.

I have 3x 24" dells, nvidia 9800 slid, vista 64.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

thankyou

you know, you really would think that all the new games would have this sorted by now.
The developers are really missing out here, we all know that once youve been tripleheaded you will never go back to having a single head.

I know someone here will fix this.

Are you sure ?
Is the added FOV line under the section section headed ... [WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput]

It didn't work for my buddy until he put the line under this section and fuc847 in the other thread says he has it working now.

paddy,

thankyou for the advice, having read the other thread I see people have a partial fix.

well I placed the bindings were you said.
I ran the game but in gameplay i had no controls whatsoever; no gamepad, no keyboard commands.
I had to ctrl, del, alt out of it.

However by placing the key binding in [Engine.PlayerInput] it worked !

Like others have said, I think I will hold off playing the game in thtg, maybe go back to one tiny 24" monitor......it wont be the same

Try actually setting the resolution to a widescreen resolution.

It's scaling the picture because you keep setting 4:3 or 5:4 resolutions. you want a 16:9 or 16:10.
