After googling a bit I found only a few posts about only the BFG Edition supporting this aspect ratio and not the original game. Has anyone on this forum looked into it extensively?

I can't pay you via paypal due to issues with my bank/online banking. What I can offer however is any game of your choice on steam as a gift.
