So I am trying to make a GUI/Cutscene fix for Rayman 3 (which is Hor+ by default, but the GUI is messed up completely). I have found that at offset 1A9EAC in the games executable, you can change the hex value (by default 3F400000, so height÷width to get the right value), which should fix the GUI. Unfortunately, if you change it so it exactly matches your aspect ratio (3F100000 for 16:9), for some reason it changes so the whole screen is stretched, but if it is changed so it is 2 above the correct value (So 3F100002 for 16:9), it works as expected, besides the GUI being off-centred slightly. Does anyone know what could cause this, and how to fix it so I can get the correct value to work?

Also, cutscenes seem to display fine up to 16:10. Anything wider than that (even by 1 pixel), and they are completely black. Does anyone have any knowledge on how to fix this?

This game seems to handle widescreen very weirdly
