Didn't see this coming, maybe I will buy 2 more 22 screens to get 3x22. And yes, if matrox and nvidia doesn't do something soon about this, then they will lose the multihead gaming.

Oldschool quake 3 multihead picture (not with new technology)

This looks fantastic.

I can see that portrait and landscape mode are supported which is great but these have all been shown with identical monitors all setup in the same orientation. I'm yet to see anything on mixed modes being used i.e. something like this.

22" Portrait<<30" Landscape>>22" Portrait

if such a mode is supported in the single large screen mode (i.e. game mode) then this is a winning solution.

Ok, with that I'm 100% certain I'm going 5x 24" portrait mode. I've been using 3x 24" portrait setup for about a week now and I'm pretty well used to it. Just gotta slap my 4th display back on the table and buy the 5th. Now just to figure out when I can buy one of those 6x out cards. :D

So someone did see this, It's now time to save and buy 3 more monitors. though i'd rather have 6 30 inchers, but i wonder if tehy can do something about those bezels. With this you can make a rather large display where you can finally sit back from the computer and not need as much anti-aliasing.

Yea, I can't handle the bezels in the middle. I'd like 3x30". That may be price prohibitive, but 3x24" would be doable.

Actually, I'm thinking more like 5x24". The Dell 3008 is the only 30" with DP and HDMI. It runs $1700. The 2408 which has DVI-D, HDMI, DP, Component, etc. is $550. So, three of those for the price of one $30. I could eventually swing two more for a 5x1 setup.

Some of the 23" 1920x1080 panels are only $200 - $300. If I could find one that had more than DVI and VGA, that would be a cheaper setup.

So glad I waited. Now I don't have to feel I wasted the money on this ASUS 24 incher I bought and I now have a reason to buy 2 more. At 16:9 ratio will effectively give me really nice view in iRacing and I should be able to keep some nice FPS considering SoftTH guys there have been getting up to 70s and 80s and lows of 50s or 60s. And the TH2GO guys with 200gx cards are sitting well into the 100s. I don't see any reason why I won't be able to use this type of setup and score 100 plus most the time. We will see though.
