Maybe it's not worth a new topic, but I just had to trumpet the fact that my favorite racing game ever (NFS: Shift) is running very well at 5040x1050 and with latest drivers/hotfix/patch 1.02/EDID workaround.

The key turned out to be disabling Crossfire. While it works incredibly well in non-Eyefinity, it causes massive slowdown in Eyefinity mode.

What's great is that it's probably just a bug that will get fixed. Then I will hopefully be able to enable some AA. But it looks pretty amazing even with noAA.

Awesome :rockout

PS - How can I take a screenshot at 5040x1050? FRAPS just gives me the left half of the screen.

Now if someone would only help me to get NFS Carbon to work right. It's the only NFS I currently own.

How about NFS Undercover? That game doesn't seem to get much love here it is not even in the master list, but it is a blast with a motion chair.

I finally got it to work at 7680x1600 in windowed mode and Eyefinity provides the correct aspect ratio. It would be better if I could get it to work in full screen mode but the usual editing of the resolution in the registry doesn't have an effect for some reason.

Hi :)
What is this EDID workaround that you speak of?
I run it with 5870 @ 5760x1200 / 2xAA / rest max.
I am ok with how the game works but stutter that i get every time the cars make contact is very distracting. Do you get those?
