I am running 2 x 5970 and three new Dell U2410 monitors which all have native DP. no matter which monitor I use with the DP, it only displays in black and white. and I know others have had this problem as well. However, I have yet to install the 10.1 driver, so will see if this fixes it....

I have a dell p2210. It is perfect in eyefinity. If using regular desktop make sure u do not have ati overdrive on as it switches gpu clocks between 2d and 3d and that is where you get the screen flicker. I use overdrive only when in a 3d game so that it stays at the 3d clocks and no flicker.

I have 3x P2310H, running on a 5970. The only Issue I have is desktop flickering.

I have mine set up as follows: DVI--DP--DVI

The 2 outside DVI displays flicker when viewing the desktop. It has to do with power play, overclocking and the different clocks of idle/2D/3D.

Later tonight I might edit my bios with the new RBE, making all the memory clocks at the 3 different modes the same. From what I read this is the cause of the desktop flickering, and fixes it. so instead of being 157/300 - 500/1000 - 725/1000 for idle/2D/3D, i'll make it 157/1000 - 500/1000 - 725/1000.

Here's a copy and paste of my results from xtremesystems forums:
*************************************************
well here's some #'s of how it's doing at 900/1200mhz @ 1.15V.

This is the first mount, i haven't taken block off to make sure everything is making good contact.. but i assume if it's not getting to 100C+ temps, all is good w/ contacts.

The drop on temp near the first 1/2 of the temp line is when i turned my D5 from 2800rpms to 4800rpms. vrms's stayed pretty much at 84C. with occasional 85C blip for a second. For $89 I don't have to listen to the leaf blower stock fan anymore.

At least I know my modded bios works well. No more 2d desktop flicker in eyefinity :)

edit: key to fixing eyefinity flicker is matching 2D mem clocks to 3D

I currently have 3 eMachines 21.5" inch monitors and I've been running eyefinity rather successfully using a dp-vga adapter. After flashing my bios I still have the occasional flicker about once every 20 minutes though and it's starting to bug me. I'm debating whether it might be worth it to invest in this Dell P2310 and use the setup of 21.5 - 23 - 21.5 using the displayport to fix the flickers. My two concerns are: 1) The flickering won't stop and it'll waste my time and money messing with the new monitor and 2) The 23 in the middle will look strange compared to the 21.5's. Any thoughts?
