I'm tempted to buy one and sell my apple adapter I don't need the dual link DVI resolutions. Its about £50 difference. |

I went with this one from ebay UK http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350263793156&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT Works fine, but I have had the occasional problem with the monitor switching off, as mentioned in http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/11274 But I think that is a driver issue rather than to do with the adaptor. |

This is great news. Can those of you that have it running report on if you have any limitations in resolution etc please? |

I was a little reluctant about this, but the price difference between these adapters and the active DP->DVI adapters are too high to pass up! I bought a DP->VGA adapter from monoprice - it looks identical to the adapter initially mentioned in this post: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042801&p_id=5135&seq=1&format=2 I've got 3 Dell 2405FPWs that I'll be using with the adapter, at 1920x1200x3, connected to a Radeon 5850. I should receive the adapter sometime next week, I'll post pictures of the setup if everything ends up working! |

Edit: And here is an official verification (though its not officially supported) from AMD via [H]: http://www.hardocp.com/news/2009/11/30/eyefinity_using_active_adapter |

Ok, This sounds promising, I've been looking around at things for a few days on display port, and I can't find much of anything. Which GPU are you using in the 19" 22" 19" setup? |
