hum ok, so what you're saying is the adaptor DP-DVI actually works but only if there's 2 screens connected?

strange looks more like a software than a hardware issue
unless "hardware.fr" got it wrong (which it rarely does) the single TMDS connected to the DP ouput should do DVI single link at the same time as the rest ...

I think we need to ask what driver version are you using? You might have a pre-EyeFinity driver bundled with your card.

Yes, are you using the recommended graphic drivers for the 5800 series ?

That or try some of the newer driver versions from Guru3D. Looks like they have up to the Catalyst 9.9 there.

*edited by BHawthorne* Removed inaccurate pre-release info about adapters.

I have at least 2 questions:

1) Is any of the SLS or EyeFinity driver stuff showing up in your drivers -- even if only showing the ability to run it with the 2 screens that it currently sees?

2) Which port are you using on the display? I'm assuming the DVI?

We'll get it figured out. I'm assuming this is either a case of the wrong adapter or something simple as a setting wrong in the drivers. I know it silly of me to ask, but have you used the display control panel to extend the desktop into that 3rd display yet?

This is definitely bad news. Hopefully you're just doing something wrong or ATI just needs to release a new proper driver or something like that. I don't have a monitor with displayport and certainly don't feel like buying one right now.
