hey all.

My Apple active displayport to DVI-D came today.

So i put it all together and i have a problem!

If i use the DP on its own i get a good display perfectly fine.

As soon as i have all 3 monitors on and try and detect them all the MINIDP one wont go higher then 1920x1080 at 30iHZ..... and its got a very fast flicker due to the 30Hz..

I cant for the life of me change this as it will just refuse to change any options!

Any ideas people?

EDIT:
If i start with just the MiniDP screen on its perfect, Add second screen i have 2 screen extended, as soon as i add the 3rd screen the MiniDP ported monitor shuts off and the CCC will detect that both DVI monitors are on and the MiniDP is disabled...
Im deffo useing an active cable as its useing USB as power.

There is no way its letting me turn all 3 monitors on now....

Welcome to the club of DP>DVI Adapter hell. Hopefully someone with a bigger brain than me can eventually work out what the problem is.

The only thing I can suggest is try a $20 DP>VGA adapter as that works the best for me. Still some minor issues, but 100% stable once I have it set.

Hi
no can do as it's a 5970 it's a minidp.
Also VGA can't do 1920x1200 can it?

This is upsetting me and I may put a call through to sapphire

I'm looking for an extention for my wall plug so I can use my 1a 5-9v USB plug... That may help?

I defo fell that the 5970 has not enough signal grunt to do 3 monitors..
The 5870 had a bios update to solve this and I would rather ati made one for the 5970.
But being ati I don't think they care about the people dropping £550 on a card! Spent over £800 on this card so far!
