Hi forum, Do any 5970 owners that use active DVI to DP adapters have any issues with flickering etc. By reading through the forums I know a BIOS update was applied to the 5870's etc but I wanted to know about the 5970 since it uses a mini DP instead. If anybody cares to share some feedback that would be great. Hopefully this is the card I am going to go for. Thanks |

Hey man, im using 5970 with apple's minidp - dvi adapter, works like a charm until now Except for one problem, which seems to be caused by the card though. I cannot run a game in 1920x1080, the game flickers badly. This is not the adapters fault though, or so it seems. It is most probably a crossfire issue, check the thread "flickering only at 1920x1080" for more info :) If u need some testing done for you, ill see what i could do. :triplewide |

damn thats to bad I have 3 1080P monitors that I would like to play on. What issues were you having now? Did you use your standard micro dvi to dvi connector that game with the box? and what resolution do you play on your games? |
