I will have to remind you of the importance of an IPS monitor (as I was recently reminded of myself).

The P2310 appears to be in stock in the Small Business section of the site. Preliminary ship date is 5/3 when I put it in my cart.

I have three P2310's and like them a lot. Occasionally I pine after IPS. Never having had them, I'm glad in some ways that I don't know what I'm misssing. My next set of monitors in 3-4 years won't be TN though. My biggest issue with the 2310's is the x1080-ness. My next set will also be at least x1200... (general web page width + Tree Style Tab sidebar = sidescrolling)

i managed to get 2 of the dell monitors, scan got them back in stock, is the resolution that windows shows (6048*1080 rather than 5760*1080) because of bezel correction? also is there a firefox addon to make it open on only one screen or make it open an instance on each screen?

And what is that?

I have 3x P2310H in landscape and they're perfectly fine.

I think the P2310H keeps going out of stock due to all the eyefinity users grabbing it as the perfect DP monitor. It took mine 2 months to ship back in december (got it in Feb.)... and a lot of eyefinity users I spoke to were also waiting on this monitor or already had it.

Yes that's bezel correction. You don't need a firefox addon. Use hydragrid.

If you do not have an IPS monitor than you won't miss it. But I was reminded of the quality when I was at my university (they have 19" tn panels). The viewing angles are less than good the color is also not as good (not good enough to warrant another type of monitor).

The bezel size is allmost the same.
