As it says in my signature, I have an ASUS 5870 1G right now running 3 monitors in 5760x1080. I've been enjoying this for about a year, but some upper echelon games (Crysis, Metro 2033, Dirt 2) can still be tough to run on high settings despite my setup. I've been tossing around some ideas in my head but I'm not sure what I feel like doing. My options are as follows:

1) Buy another 5800 series card and go CF. Could include 5850, 5870, or possibly 5870 E6.

2) Sell the 5870 to one of my friends (which I'd probably only get $200 for) and upgrade to the 6000 series, in which case I might do CF 6870's or possibly a 6970 when it comes out.

3) Sell the 5870 and go back to the green side, although I'm not sure what cards would end up being an upgrade for me and I'd like to stay in surround gaming and not spend too much.

All in all, I'd prefer not to spend more than $500 in the upgrade as I'm planning on trying to make it happen sometime over Christmas break. What do you guys think I should do? What will get me the best upgrade for the price?

Wait till the 6900 series comes out before you make any decisions. (should be around the 12th give or take a day)

Oh, I'm weeks away from making a purchase anyways, so it would have been past the 12th either way. I'm just trying to think about what might work best for my budget in advance.
