Hi all, I really want to get the new A10 working with gauges/mfd's on another monitor. The way the game works it has to be a monitor attached to the same computer.

I currently have eyefinity running on a 5970 with 3x1 and I am not sure if I can add another cheaper card like a 5450 to attach a forth monitor. to be clear, I want the monitor on the second card to look like the second monitor to the game while the eyefinity group looks like the other single.

Previously I had read there may be problems running an eyefinity group with a second card in the machine.

Is this an issue?

Thanks!

It shouldn't be an issue, but i cant be certain. I haven't ever need to run eyefinity and another card.

By accident I got a 5770 and it was bigger than I imagined. It's also a double slot card so the pc is fairly full with that and the double slot 5970.

The good news is that it seems to work, 3x1 eyefinity on the 5970 and a single monitor on the 5770. It took a little tweaking and I wont know until I reboot if the bootup screen will appear on the 5970 (which I want it to) or the other.

So, worse case it requires 30 seconds in display settings every reboot, hopefully not. dcs a10 is now running full screen with gauges on the other monitor, I am happy now :)
