I run a Radeon 7970. When I want to run a game full-screen on my middle (preferred display) monitor... the game plays on all 3. I used to have crossfired cards and with crossfire enabled it would auto power off the left and right monitors... it handled it perfectly. With the single 7970 though... I can't seem to make it do the same. I've done a lot of searches on this with no luck. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to get the side displays to turn off when playing at 1920x1080. I always just swap back to extended mode when I want to game on a single screen. In Windows 7, just press the Windows Key and P. Then, choose Extend. To swap back to Eyefinity, press Windows Key and P again and then choose Duplicate. The same thing can be accomplished by creating Presets in the Catalyst Control Center and assigning them hotkeys. But, I've found that to be less reliable.

There may be a better solution.

*Edit: You can also use Windows Key + P and choose Computer Only if you want to shut down the side displays rather than keeping them in extended mode.

Jup, using Presets works fine (for some, others always have problems)

I think its depending on which game. If the game is programmed to shut down the side monitors when detecting 5760*1080 then its doing so, else it will show 3times the same.
