Alright, so here's what's going on:
I applied the "Conclusive 5040 fix for all nVIDIA users !" and almost all is good.
Only problem I'm running into is that my custom resolution resets after two reboots, I apply the custom resolution under the nVidia control panel, get me my 5040 x 1050, restart the computer for one reason or another, Matrox tells me my resolutions have changed and a restart is needed for the changes to take affect, at this point I still have 5040 x 1050, then I restart for one reason or another and I receive the "Out of range" message on my center monitor, I hit ctrl + alt + 2 (my shortcut for single screen 1680 x 1050) and... No more 5040 x 1050 anywhere, I need to re-input all the settings into the nVidia control panel.
How can I get the control panel (or whatever is causing this) to stop resetting my custom resolution? It seems I'm not the only person who has run into this problem, but I haven't been able to find a fix for this. So maybe you amazing folks here at the WSGF know a fix or can help in any way.
Thanks in advance guys!
Also, specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Newest Matrox TripleHead2Go-DE firmware and Powerdesk
nVidia Forceware 195.81 Beta Driver (Tried the WHQL driver as well, same issue)
Intel Core2Quad Q9450 @ Stock Clocks
6 Gigs of DDR2
1000watt Corsair PS
I'm using 3 Viewsonic VA2226w's on two EVGA 260 GTX's in SLI.
I can hardly wait until the GF100 drivers arrive so I can ditch the Matrox entirely, I love it, but it's caused many a headache.
