OK so I'm going to jump on the th2go bandwagon with this new firmware update finally. I currently have a 25.5 in LG 1920x1200 monitor. Do I scrap it and get 3 22in 1680x1050s with nice small bezels? Or do I get two more 25.5 LGs and run it at a non native resolution for th2go and still have the bigger screen for when not using triple mode? Anyone out there hate that they are running in a non-native resolution? |

Try running a game on your current 24 in 1680x1050. I found it fine, and it will better by far for single screen gaming. Not so hot IMO in windows but I can live with one 24" for that:) |

As Mach1.9 says ... try running yours at 1680x1050 ... see what you think. My Dell's scale very well even in windows ... I'm very happy. |

I am scaling up an 1280 x 768 signal to fill a 1920 x 1080 panel and I dont hate it at all. And I am doing this on 46" panels (with larger pixel size than a 25.5") too. 2 factors contributing to my satisfaction are (a) internal scaler of the HDTV is doing a fine job and (b) 3 x 46" give a huge image area that overwhelms the non-native resolution. Having said that, I do admit that there is a slight degrade of image quality due to non-native resolution. But it is up to you to decide if you can accept that in exchange for a larger view. (Luckily for my case, there is still room to improve my satisfaction as this newly released firmware allows 3 x 1680 x 1050. So, if I can accept 1280 x 768 on 1920 x 1080 panel, I definitely will accept 1680 x 1050 on the same panel.) |

[quote]3 x 46" PICS! At that point, it might be cheaper, larger and more immersive to go projectors. |

Projectors would be fun, and of course you can get a 1280x1024 one for a (relatively) good price, now that there are Full HD ones on the market. |

Well after an extensive test of most of the games on my PC I had no probs with the 'upscaling' of the monitors in any game..the newer the game the better. So BF2 looked a bit poor but I will be using that single screen anyway! I have ordered 2 of the E24" dells. They are almost half the price of the ultra sharp...my current single 24" is US but IMO the outer monitors don't have to be so good. I was planning on buying a 30" Dell to replace the 24 but 2 more 24s are cheaper and MUCH better IMO...can't wait for them to arrive!. (my sig is a bit prem ) |

You won't be disappointed with them, they are great monitors, it seems. Plus they have better response times than the 30" ones. |
