I’d recommend performing the following steps just to make sure everything has been written properly: 1- Uninstall Powerdesk completely 2- Reinstall Powerdesk and look for the reboot prompt. When prompted, restart. 3- After reboot, verify that “Matrox TripleHead2Go†|

For 3, you need to tell Windows to use TH2G's driver as monitor driver : -go to Display Properties > Advanced > Monitor -under Monitor click Properties > Driver > Update Driver -Search computer... > Let me choose... > Have Disk... -then point to the file GXM.ini in your Powerdesk dir (should be C:Program FilesMatrox Graphics IncPowerDeskSE) -check Display Properties, your monitor should now be set to Matrox TH2G 8) |

I have been trying to get it to work but their is no way. I have tried every BETA and WHQL driver NVidia has released since 177.41 (which works) and none do. Oh apart from 180.43, tried .42. There is a problem with the Matrox GXM. They sent me a new one which gave the option of 5040 but when selected put some monitors out of range....for me and another guy who I emailed the new GXM to. So please Matrox, hurry up! we really need to get the 180 drivers working :) |

Just to show MarkB that it is def a Matrox prob I installed 180.43 (it only has a little fix for FC2 compared to .42 which I had already tried). My PC works fine 5040 with the old NV driver but as soon as I update this is what I get I can select 3x1280x1024 or 1360x768 but nothing higher. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |
