Hrrrm, looking at the link in your Profile, it looks like the MViewer is like the TH2G? Looks like you have both the TH2G and TH2G Digital feature matched but can do things the TH2G can't do.

The MV103-HDVEPro can do 5040x1050 at 60hz? Can it do 5760x1200 or 5760x1080? Also this chaining of MV103 into a video wall? These boxes are doing things Matrox never allowed the TH2G to do. Is that video wall capable of 3D or just 2D desktop use?

http://www.mviewtech.com I was running the pages from there through Google Translate Chinese -> English. Definitely interesting information. Why hasn't anyone else heard of MView Technology? Is it because of the language barrier or is this only available in the Asia market?

Matrox might have some competition on it's hands if the MViewer MV103-HDVE can in fact do some of the things it seems to be able to do.

Just email the guys there and this is the reply I got.
Did some edit.
-------------
Hi,
Now we do not have an english web page or product datasheet. We will update the english version soon, I can describe our products briefly:

Our Mviewer multi-monitor expansion module is a product that attaches to the monitor connector of your system and output the divided signal across three seperate monitors.

For example, the graphic card send a video resolution of 3840x1024 to Mviewer, then the Mviewer will divide it into three 1280x1024 resolution signals and send them to three outputs which can connect to 3 monitors.

Now our products include:

MV103-HDVE which is an engineering version features high availability, hot plug and resolution custom definition. It use AC/DC power as power source and it have an duallink DVI input and three DVI-I outputs. Now this part can support the world's first 4200x1050@60Hz resolution which can support three SXGA+ projectors. It can also support multiple MV103-HDVEs to use parallel or cascade(two stage cascade), which can support video wall.

MV103-HDVE pro version is an upgrade version of MV103-HDVE, which reserves the features and add an FlexView patent technique, that allows the support of world's first true 60HZ 5040x1050 resolution which can support any 22 inch LCD with either DVI or VGA input.

MV103-HDVI version is an USB powered Mviewer and it is designed for desktop usage, does not support hot plug and customer defined resolution and parallel /cascade usage.

If you have some other question or some other things that not clear, please email to us.

Mviewtech
-------------

Correct me if I am wrong, but the reason we cannot get 5040x1050@60Hz is due to the limitations of the bandwidth of DVI connections right?

How do you overcome that?

The cascade video wall capability and custom resolutions definitely sounds a lot more flexible than TH2G.

I'm curious what the price point would be for this box. Are you looking for a US market partner? I can pass information onto EVGA management.

Bring it on, it would be useful to supply one of the insiders/reviewers to trial your product, as I would think quite a few people on here would be very interested in your product, as Matrox just do not offer the flexibility and support.

As much as a more flexible alternative to the th2g is needed, I hope they won't be stepping on matrox's patents on this kind of thing to achieve it. Too similar products usually end up badly.

Both boxes have been around since 2006. Who knows, this company might be the OEM for Matrox for all we know.
