Hey guys, I'm having an issue with Windows 7 and TH2GO. Basically since I have the latest firmware, my Nvidia drivers now automatically have the 5040x1050 entries in the custom resolution list; these entries cannot be deleted, I have tried. Normally this is not a problem, but with GTA IV the game assumes that 5040x1050 is my native resolution and I'm running the game at 3840x1024 for performance reasons; so the game tries to be helpful by automatically setting the aspect ratio to 3x16:10. This is not the case, 3840x1024 is my native resolution, with 3x5:4 being my correct aspect ratio. Normally this wouldn't be a problem in GTA IV because it allows you to force the correct aspect ratio when running in non-native resolutions. But since nothing is ever as simple as it should be in surround gaming, I can't do that.

What I'm asking is that if anybody has the old firmware from before 5040x1050 was added, this would solve my problem with a flawless victory I think.

Got a couple backups, not sure what versions they are but the one labelled "notwide" should be just what you need.
