I was looking for a fastest 24TN display and had to make a chart of almost all 24'' screens with input lag and response time taken from various review and databases. Maybe it will be helpful for someone. Price is in RUR, currency exchange rate for the post date is: 1 USD = 35 RUR

Still cant choose between G2400** and 2443BW. Anyone has input lag info for 2443BW? Which is the best from:
ASUS MK241H
BenQ G2400W
BenQ G2400WA
BenQ G2400WAD
BenQ G2400WD
BenQ G2400WT
Samsung 245B
Samsung 2443BW

One last point: ignore the advertised response times, and look at our tests instead. We often find results that are very different from what's promised.

just wanted to say that because it's so true

okay: I mean no offense.

BUT--in this day in age you are not going to notice. I game on a 8ms AS-IPS panel. To my knowledge as a fast paced gamer...no lag...zero.

So, I'd opt for a PVA panel with better color than try to find a "fastest" cheap TN.

My 2 cents. But--I've heard good things about the Samsung 245.

there's still panels with big ghosting problems nowadays.
however it's pretty rare.

But even then it depends on each own perception of reality
some people are more sensitive to some things than others...

120Hz panels (samsung 2233rz) are perfect but then it's impossible to use with surround gaming unfortunately :?

Why not 120Hz for surround gaming?
I am really assembling 3x1920x1200 thats why I tried to find 'cheap'. Paying $3K for 3 VA/IPS displays is just eeeerh I don't know, I will be waiting too long to get them :)) $1K for all three displays in case of TN is perfect for me.

I will be using them only for gaming sitting in the center of all three screens, maybe some surfing, video very rare, so I don't need all that perfect color/angles VA/IPS pros. I want them just be fast and optionally cheap to get all of them at one time.

Just took a look at this and was surprised. Dont know how did wrong input lag for Asus MK241H came out, but it's awful 60ms. Never

just three things

first the site is pretty well known in france and quite reliable with the occasional participation of the famous hardware.fr staff

second it can happen sometimes that LCDs are revised
(my hyundaï W220D is not the same revision as shown in the LCD menu
which gives a bit different default colors than those tested on the website for example)

third, sometimes constructors get different LCD panels (with same reference) depending on world region (though I never heard this for europe, it was rather for china)

that said I wonder if anyone can notice with his eyes a 2 images delay without another reference to compare it to ...
(even though it can make a difference)

I've got one Samsung 2443BW finally, and it's awesome. Some ghosting is visible despite the fact it's 5ms g2g. Nice colors and it seemed to be fast, but I had to know for sure what were the input lag numbers. Couldn't find any reviews or tests on the net specifically for input lag of 2443BW, so I had to do it myself.

BUT after measuring the input lag I've came to a conclusion that I will definitely get two more 2443BWs for surround gaming.

Camera: HP PhotoSmart M637.
CRT: Samsung SyncMaster 757NF
Resolution: 1280x1024 bothTotal 50 shots:
25 shots: 0ms
14 shots: 10ms (actually ghosting - you judge)
11 shots: 20ms (weird, but I could see numbers from 0ms and 20ms picture, counted as worst 20)

proof best and worst results
