Well that sucks considering how much I've spent on everything already.
I'm hoping the mview people have some ideas... I'm willing to forgive them for 4800x1200 @ 55hz not working, but if 5040x1050 @ 60hz doesn't work... then there's a problem. I expect to buy something and have it work as advertised.
I could have gone for Eyefinity - but then I'd need at a minimum, 2 new video cards to match my current setup. Or a 5970. Plus my new monitors don't have DP, so that adds a further expense...
Hi,
I will try to help everybody to set up 5040X1050 60Hz.but this resolution related to other things for example Video card,Os and CPU.
As you known,Matrox can't sure everybody can get 5040x1050 resolution.because this format is non-Vesa standard(EDID max set to 4095 pixels).if user want to get over 4096,this must write some register key to windows.
for 4800x1200 55HZ , We try to help you get this format.we test this format at our lab.that is no problem, but this format don't startard resolution (55HZ not 60HZ).So We don't sell product with this format to other people.
Please give us some time,we will do more for everybody and afford more flexible than Matrox.
Best Regards!
Mviewtech.
