I don't know if this is the wrong forum but I'm having a tough time figuring out if I should get a 3 monitor display gaming setup and I figured I should "see it" or "test it" before pushing the trigger.

Is anyone aware of any Los Angeles based locations that offer a demo on this technology?

I tried calling the local Frys but they said they don't offer such a thing.

You might have to just find someone on the forum that has a setup. I'm sure there is someone in the Los Angeles area that has a Surround setup they could let you mess around on. They might have to get to know you better before letting you over. Until then, what questions do you have about it that someone could answer to help you with your decision?

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Hopefully someone in Los Angeles can view this thread.

Well, the biggest thing that I'm debating between the 2560x vs 3x 1920 is the "immersion" factor. Is 3x 1920 screens THAT more immersive than one 2560 that makes this whole eyefinity/surround setup worth it?

I'd love to answer that question by using/seeing a 3x setup but no luck so far like I've mentioned. :(

When i got mine, i could barely afford it, but I've never regretted it in the slightest. Plus, having three displays is very handy for other things.

The only drawback (other than cost) is that you'll never want to play on a single display again.

I'm in long beach, but I don't know you.... :hide

I did go from a 28" LCD to 3x 24", and it is much much more immersive.

Haha....

Hey buddy.... :nudgenudge :cheers

I'm in Bev Hills area. I drive up to Long Beach (really more PV) pretty often... lol.

I found a good deal for a Dell 3007WFP-HC ($755). If that's a steal I'm going to buy it. I'm looking for other opinions on that price. I feel like I can still try out eyefinity too since I have one 2407 and I can buy 2 more for $400 and whenever that happens I can have the best of both worlds....
