Fantastick,

Bless you friend, is it just that simple?, it makes me feel so stupid, I was drowning in a cup of water.

If you could spare a bit more time, why in your learnet opinion the first one mine its black DVI has no pins round the flat pin, & the 2nd one has.

Surely cannot be manufacturing mistake.

this is of the card I bought:-

and this is of the adverts on the net:-

I'm not omnipotent mate; I don't know 8)

But what I know is that you shouldn't bother, as long as you are not going to connect analog monitors.

OK thanks,

one obstacle over, which the vendors could not clear, now I must find out why FSX did not want to start with one monitor on ATI 5770 Flex installed.

Good news,

Managed to run FSX OK with different drivers from the CD in the box.

I have an S-DVI-D cable & tried it but shows nothing on the screen, & is OK with my VGA one + adaptor the card side. .......nick

Then I connected that S-DVI-D cable to the HTMI socket on the card & both screens now show OK.

Hopefully when I get 2 proper DVI cables & connect them to the DVI sockets of the card & the monitors I may get all 3 screens working.

With your help folks am geting there slowly. ............nick

Installed the prober cables you said below, the center screen shows as usual but the other two just remain black.

I run the Ati software Catalist shown below but only 2 screens show. Tried all the variables in it without success. Uninstalled & installed the drivers 2-3 times. Don't know what to do next.

My Catalist above though is entirely different from one in a Utube Setup Info below showng 3 screens:-

- Single-Link DVI-D to Single-Link DVI-D

You're using a REALLY OLD Catalyst or are on XP.

If you're on XP, you wont be able to use more than 2 screens.

OMG !,

But look what this says:- ...Could be a mistake? or it means only 2 monitors.
http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products/vga-cards/sap-hd5770-flex

".....ATI HD5770 FleX 1GB GDDR5 Supports up to 4 Monitors
Connectors DVI-D, DVI-I, Display Port, HDMI
DirectX support 11.0
Compatible OS Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista ...."

WHERE at least can I get the new catalist ?. .........nick

Posted Today, 09:26 PM from a forum helper:-

Okay so I did some googling on AMD's website and found this in the Eyefinity FAQs:
Quote: What Operating Systems does AMD Eyefinity technology work with?
At present Windows® Vista and Windows® 7 support AMD Eyefinity technology. There are plans for Linux support in an upcoming update to AMD Catalyst™ software. There is no support for Windows® XP.

So XP isn't supported for Eyefinity, unfortunately

CALAMITY, so after so much trouble I went to, & a lot kind forum helpers, I came almost to huck it & find XP whon't do.

Cheerio all.
