i could see it being handy in racing and fps games, but for others, i wouldn't mess with it.

They havent flubbed anything with bezel management.

How much screen area is shoved towards the center screen depends upon how large your bezels are to begin with. Poor choice of review monitors, not an issue with the feature.

I myself would lose only 1" on either side.

It is also hot key capable, so you can switch it on/off as desired.

The bezel management is exactly the way to do it and is not flubbed up.

I'm just as impatient ...

A question for all, if one uses analog LCD's, which I do, I'm still getting this unit, placing three DVI/VGA converters on it, as this would allow for expansion later on if I replace my current LCD's.

Will Bezel management work in that configuration? I'm thinking yes, as it is the TH2G hardware that is performing the management in conjunction with the software.

Still willing to give anyone less fortunate than myself my old analog unit for $150.

Hi RW-1,

Yes Bezel Management will still work with Analog LCD panels as well as CRT's. For Bezel Management we do not care what is connected, what we care about is the mode that you are in. (3 Stretched)

Hey richieG,

Thanks for the confirmation. That makes me feel better, though I kinda knew it already.

Of course, that begs the next question, can bezel management be implemented intot he analog version of the TH2G down the line as a firmware/software update, or was it hardware specific (I know the answer to this as well, or at least I think so, as if it could be done I would hope Matrox would implement for all of us who already have the analog.)

All in all though I'm willing to upgrade it and give my analog one to someone.

Hey RW-1,

Not sure if the Analog version will benefit from Bezel Management or not in the future. I would think so eventually but we will have to wait and see.

The bennies of that are obvious, however I'll be getting the digital, when one of my current VGA 19" Dell's goes out, then I'll upgrade them to DVI, or at a minimum DVI/VGA.

Happy though, I checked my Chaintech Nvidia 6600 manual, it supports dual link DVI, so I should be able to use the DVI from the card to the ditigal TH2G (not a bother if it didn't, not too many cards had that support at the time I bought mine).

Thanks again, looking forward to the units release shortly! :)
