yes it will run windowed, but you cant choose any resolultions other than from 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 aspects. not sure where this games stores its config files (seems like there are none under my user docs).

also MY complaint is that this game last too narrow FOV (looks likes its around 50 to 60), something like 80 to 90 would suit better for all the explosions going on.

Yeah, can't select the resolution in-game, it lists them by aspect ratio, and you can only pick the 3 standard ones. so no 48:9 option :)

The Last Red Faction game had config files you could dig into and change the resolution to anything you needed, but I was unable to locate openable config files this time.

Haven't tried yet running windowed and expanding to fill my desktop...

Well it's weird but...guys, the game started in eyefinity resolution. And plays it as well.
What's different with my system? :S

Only thing is, the options shows a res of 640x480.
If I change only one setting, I bet the game will change to that and I will never be able to reverse the change.
(but its gotta be somewhere in the registry - hex decimals)

only played it a few minutes so far. I have to do other things at the moment. But it looked ok to me. Also took a video of it but uploading will take forever lol ^^

Heh no idea. I haven't been able to get it to get anything but standard resolutions. At least you confirm the hud will be distorted.

Well all we can see is that it CAN run in eyefinity almost flawless except for the HUD.

But jesus. The FOV NEEDS to be fixed. It's HORRIBLE. I can't imagine how anyone could play this on one single monitor.

The HUD in RF:A @eyefinity isn't that bad if you had seen the one in RF:G. It simply made the game unplayable.

Nope, nothing that has the standard .ini or .cfg type extensions or even a name that suggests it is.

Might be something in the registry...

Wait till you get all the doodads around your crosshair for the power-up cooldowns and ammo-count and enemy health meters.... probably be huge.
