The real problem I see with QUAD SLI is that NVidia are going to EoL the Gx2 real soon. One Gx2 would be fine, as it will use pretty much the same drivers as a pair of GTS' (and they will hold the support). But writing a good set of AFR4 (IIRC) drivers for the few who have it........mmm. A risk for big pounds!

My desire/addiction ... lol ... for the latest had me blinkered ... you may well have saved me a grand ... I think I'll stick with my 8800's and wait to see what comes along in the autumn.

I know, I am there too! I was seriously considering them until I sat myself down and gave myself a stern talking to! In fact I am going to rebuild my systems and downgrade, ish. I am sick of Vista so in XP tri-sli is a waste so I will use one box to run the 24" (and drop the q6600) in it and the 2 GTXs in the main one to run TH2Go (with a q9450- when one arrrives in NZ!).
I'll just unplug my M+KB into a USB hub on the box I want to use (ie BF et al on 24"; anything that will run TH I will use the TH box)

However I have just blown a fortune on DnD minis instead in preparation for DnD 4th Edition :roll:

This program works but can anyone give me a no dvd img for daemon or a nocd/dvd fixed exe that works??

(i accidentaly sat on my cd :S didn't do it much good :/)

also if anyone has settings for 1024x768 would be great.

Man... As soon as I get my new PC I am getting this game. Unless I get an xbox then I will get the Xbox version.

Dunno what the settings would be for 1024x768 ... use the + and - keys of the number pad to adjust the aspect ratio until it fits/works for your res.

is this program ment to get rid of the black lines, or cure the "widescreen only" thing

It was made to remove the black bars on the sides of the game in TripleHead (see the first post of this thread) but it also can be used to remove the black bars from the top and bottom of 4:3, 5:4 or widescreen screens.

You may also want to look here to see how it works for widescreen and other screen formats ... although I haven't see anyone post the settings for 1024x768 ...

thats always fun... well i dont care about any bars, i jusst would like the game to work as my monitor does support widescreen
