Sorry if I missed this or should already know. I've always wanted to get this game, but wonder if it's more tracak building vs. racing and enjoying.

Can anyone tell me the following:

1) Doess it support TH2G? Will it run in 3840X1024?

2) How is the game for racing? Is it fun? Doe sit offer cockpit view or is it swingarm cam only?

3) Is the game worth 39.99? price at steam? Or is itbetter to buy the offline/Box version?

Thanks guys!

Great arcade racing, everything feels (and looks) so smooth. No real cockpit though, but two external views and a bumper cam. It's loads of fun and you should really download Trackmania Nations (the free more-than-demo in the Stadium environment) if you haven't already !

Have you tried Trackmania Nations Forever? That should provide enough gameplay for most people. United is just more content than nations.

I personally think its worth the price but defiantly try out nations forever before you jump into United.

I agree with DaFox, try out trackmania nations forever and see if the style of the gameplay fits you as it doesn't fit some people.

Over the course of a few years I have determined that I like to play through NFS games, trackmania when I am bored and have free time, and don't really care for racing simulators (GTR).

People have different preferences and maybe you will be satisfied with the loads of online content for nations forever and save some money.

Thanks again folks for the info. I don't mind spending the money for any game I like just to show support to developers. However, I do like games like GTR2/rfactor, GTR evo, Race 07, etc.

Also, I do like games like Grid, Dirt, and other simply fun games. I will give this a try, because I like any game that's fun.

I'll post back my thoughts when I get a chance to try, Out of time this weekend, will try next week.
