Any one that has a native resolution of 1280x1024, really. The rest should be based on price, but you'll want one with a response time of 16ms or lower and the thinnest bezels possible. If you plan on using the analogue version of the TripleHead2Go the monitors also need VGA inputs. At this point it's probably best to wait for the digital version.

Yea get something with a very thin bezel so you wont get distracted by them :D

Ive heard benqs have thin ones... unless you have a great deal on the analog get the digital

Can you test the monitors before buying? If not, read the reviews and try to stick with the one with the fastest response time for gaming.

I personally prefer quality over speed but most NEW FAST LCD (4 ms response and faster TN panels) have improved lately with more and better colors.

im currently using 3 samsung syncmaster 940n's and love em. i had the same problem as you choosing a nice monitor for a decent price. after doing a bunch of research i couldnt really decide and my th2g arrived early since it was supposed to be backordered. i just ended up heading to the local comp store and picked out what looked good to me.
