Ok think I might have made a slight error in my understanding!!!

I have ordered three 19" monitors and intend on running triplehead2go (they have yet to arrive).

I currently have a 24" Ultrasharp Monitor, which I was selling to pay for some of the other monitors, BUT......

It seems I can buy 2 x Dell UltraSharp 2007FP and still run triplehead2go at 5120x1200, is this something I should do?

I want to play most / all games with triplehead and so it is important that this setup will work.

Any advice welcome as I don't know what the best thing is to do...

1. Keep the 19" monitors when they arrive and sell my 24".

2. Keep my 24" send the 19" monitors back and get two 20" Dell Ultrasharp monitors to match and run all three monitors at 4800 x 1200? Could i do this?

PLEASE Help.....................

Edit: After a bit more digging around it seems to run a widescreen in the middle I will need SoftTH software and it seems more hassle than it's worth?

I am currently running a single GTX and my mobo abit pro does not support SLI, although I am thinking of upgrading to an x38 board and running x-fire?

I say you've done the right thing.

The highest 16:10 res TH2Go supports is 3840x800 (3 x 1280x800)

SoftTH is nothing to do with TH2Go and just allows you to use a software solution. However you'd have to buy another Graphics card to support this and it is a lot more of a ... "glitchy" solution.

Also I'm not sure how aesthetically pleasing it will be with 20"/24"/20".

If you can afford it, you should get the 3x 19" monitors as you have done, AND keep the current 24" Dell you have, as this can then be used as sort of "backup" for when a TH solution has yet to be found for a particular game you wish to play.
That's what I'd do anyway :P If you can't afford it then do what you had previously set out to do and sell the 24".

Edit: Sorry i think i misunderstood. If you mean 4:3|16:10|4:3 then that is not currently possible with TH2Go, all screens must display the same resolution, and thus the same aspect ratio, so your middle 24" screen will be stretched.

Thanks mate for the feedback!

Are there many games that do not work with th2g? As i could keep my dell, but i don't have the space for all them monitors really :/

I really want to play all games with TH2G, are there any recent gfames that do not support it?

That's correct. The above post says "The highest 16:10 res TH2Go supports is 3840x800 (3 x 1280x800)".

If you click the "Screenshots" link at the top of all forum pages, you will see examples of games in triplehead, and you will be able to see how well the game supports it. You can also do a search in the Surround Gaming section to get an idea of how games you own or plan to own work in triplehead resolutions.

Yep heaps I am afraid:
Call of duty 4 (without dopefish's prog)
Kane and lynch, so far for me
the witcher
battlefields all
UT3
just what I am playing at the moment- all of these I play on my 24inch so keep yours!
But when you can use TH2Go it is awesome!

UT3 is getting an official widescreen/fov patch, if it hasn't already.

I hadn't heard that, but I hope you're right. You can set up a server to accept wider FOV, using Paddy's Mutator (good UT type name!):
