:cheers

The PC version is absolutely not a port. This was a conscious decision early on and has meant that the PC version has been developed in parallel with the consoles as a project in its own right. We wanted to support and reward PC gamers who have stuck with the platform and upgraded their software and hardware to the latest specification.

The PC version is enhanced in the following ways…

Enhanced DirectX10 and 10.1 render path
Support for 32Bit and 64Bit Windows 7 and Vista
Optimized for Dual and Quad Core Processors
Certified for Nvidia 3D Vision (Not available on console)
Support for Window and Full Screen modes
Enhanced for SLi
Enhanced for Crossfire
Enhanced for multi-screen setup (Not available on console)
Full Keyboard and Mouse support
Xbox360 Controller Support
Enhanced GPU Water effect for Nvidia Systems (Not available on console)
Enhanced Bokeh filter for Nvidia Systems (Not available on console)
Increased detail setting (Not available on console)
Soft Shadows (Not available on console)
Soft Particles (Not available on console)
Point Specular (Not available on console)
SSAO (Not available on console)
Benchmark Mode (Not available on console)
DLC support via Steamworks
Achievements via Steamworks
Auto patching via Steamworks
Ability to chat to other gamers via Steamworks while playing

Do you support multiple monitors and ATI's Eyefinity technology? If so, does the support go beyond an extra-wide view? Could you perhaps put the in-game map or some other info on a second screen?

We do support Eyefinity across multiple monitors. As Just Cause 2 features some of the most breath taking vistas seen in any game, being able to render those across 3 monitors results in a truly unbelievable experience, if you have invested in multi-screen hardware you certainly won’t be disappointed.

Nice list... gonna eat my mid-range rig apart.

I loved the first game, thought it was very underrated, so I am eager to see how this one is.

Yay!
If the gameplay has improved as much as the graphics, and I want to believe it has, JC2 could turn out to be one heck of a great game - regardless of the screen setup. Crossing fingers...

Ati guys will get their very own DX10.1 support, so don't be too bummed by the "nvidia water FX". Although I wonder what that might be. (PhysX?)

Looking forward to this, the first was awesome, and also just so happened to be the game to bring me to this forums to make my first post :D

Unless there's some funky DRM they're being quiet about I'll be getting this on day one.

It's Steamworks I would say, looking at the feature list.

Yes, thar be a fix for proper multi-screen somewehre on the site. The game is lots of exaggerated fun and it looks nice but the gameplay gets repetative and the HUGE map is mosly feature-less mountain and forest.

Number 2 (haha) has varied environments and a slightly smaller map, but there's more content to it. Though from what I've sen in developer videos and now this info on Eyefintiy support makes me think this one will be pretty good. I expect some blandness to the core gameplay, but the craziness will more than make up for it, I'm sure.

But it's coming about the same week as Liberty City Stories. :?

Looks like the original 720p i watched is down, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8ZVLZH_ihA will suffice.
