Help needed. :)

I'm having a tough time coming to a decision about monitors for surround (ongoing for months now). I currently have a ASUS VG278H but I'm not sure two more of these is the way to go as 3x 27inch monitors seems overkill. I've been looking at either the BenQ 2420 or the Dell 2412. Any opinion on the 120hz 1080p TN panels of the BenQ vs the 1920x1200 IPS panels of the Dell for surround?
