Post subject: | Desktop Screen Management for Multiple Monitor? |
Hello all, I am currently using Nvidia nView Desktop Manage, but there's a bug with it that disables it's self when I use SLI. [The application is currently discontinued.] The features I am looking for is set dimension for maximizing windows, multiple virtual desktops, custom wallpaper per desktop, and possible "Pin" effect. I know there's a couple applications that can do this, but for the life of me, I can't find an them to meet these requirements. Thanks in advance~! 3x1 SLI, 2 extra monitors. |

WinSplit revolution works for creating virtual desktop areas. You can set it up to moves windows to predefined areas you set by hot keys, snapping or an onscreen remote. http://winsplit-revolution.com/ Display fusion works for having a different background on each screen http://www.displayfusion.com/ |

Winsplit is pretty good, especially once the hotkeys become second nature. I've used it in 4x1 and 2x2 setups, and it's fairly versatile. Ultramon is another tool I've heard nothing but good things about: http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ |

Post subject: | Thank for the reply everyone |
Thank for the reply everyone and after a long testing environment. I found these applications to be the best setup. Winsplit - Maximize windows to defined dimensions UltraMon - Desktop Wallpaper per screen [works with SLI + extra monitors!] mDesktop.exe - SMALLEST footprint ever for virtual desktop [one problem uses to crashes every once in a while on my older computer, but not current] |
