Hello,

I'm running a triple monitor 5760x1080 60hz setup, currently with a GTX 1080. I'm considering buying a UW-QHD 38" 3840x1600 75hz monitor. Is it correct to presume that with the new monitor will require not more, or even less processing power, since it will have a bit less pixels and will be using only a single port from the Video Card?

Howdy,
5760x1080 are 6.2Megapixel. The 3840x1600 are 6.14Mp so its almost the same.
The difference from 3Monitors to 1 is almost negligible and should not make a big difference. Only if you have very low CPU power.
On triple monitor you also have a wider FoV which shows more objects on the screen which causes more GPU work. But this is also a very small difference.
All in all you should see a very similar performance as before.

Greetings,
Haldi
